I believe most guests that have stayed at a Walt Disney World Resort will agree with me on this tip.  Staying on the Disney property is totally worth the money.  The convenience of free park transportation, shopping package delivery to resort rooms, great pools, magical amenities and extra hours in the parks with shorter attraction wait times make the extra money spent on the Disney property totally worth it.  The good news is, depending on the time of year you can likely snag a value resort room on the property for around the same price (or less) than you would pay at a hotel off the property.  Find a value resort room pretty much any night of the year if you budget $200 a night for a hotel stay.  Keep in mind; during lower traffic times at Walt Disney World, you can sometimes snag a value resort room for $120 a night.
