5 Compelling Reasons Why Everyone Should Visit Disney World

There is no place on Earth like Disney World. Both figuratively and literally. With that in mind, here are 5 compelling reasons why everyone should visit the most magical place on Earth:

5.) Cinderella’s Castle. There is just nothing like the most iconic symbol of Disney World. From that first breath-taking view of it on Main Street, to the detailed mosaic murals in the archway, to the Bippity-Boppity-Boutique where your daughters can experience the ultimate princess makeover, to dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table, you could spend the better part of a (magical) day at Cinderella’s Castle. And we haven’t even mentioned the pièce de résistance – the Cinderella Castle Suite! Unquestionably the most magical accommodation in all of Disney World, the suite includes a “magic mirror” which doubles as a state-of-the-art flat screen tv, an amazing jacuzzi tub under a ceiling of stars, 14k gold floor tiles, and of course, Cinderella’s glass slipper.

4.) Epcot’s World Showcase. The authenticity of the eleven countries represented in Epcot’s World Showcase is nothing short of astounding. The architecture, music, food, art, cultural shows, shopping, and decor will make you believe that you have traveled to that country. But what really put it over the top for us were the people. Disney only hires people who are actually from that country and their knowledge of the culture coupled with their accents will immerse your senses and only adds to the overall ambiance. You’re doing yourself a significant disservice if you don’t dedicate an entire day just to the World Showcase section of Epcot. Where else can you enjoy an authentic German beer and brat for lunch, fine Italian cuisine for dinner, and delectable French dishes for dessert? No wonder we love Disney World! Check out our article “9 Best Table Services Restaurants in Epcot’s World Showcase”.

3.) Dining. And while we are on the subject of food, you won’t find any better than at Disney World. The buffets at the Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom), 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian Resort), Hollywood & Vine (Hollywood Studios), and Chef Mickey’s (Contemporary Resort) are the stuff of legends. And the only thing that can match the food at Epcot’s World Showcase is the atmosphere. Chefs de France is especially exceptional. But the epic french cuisine is not just limited to Epcot. You’ll have an incredible dining experience at Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom.

2.) Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The Disney Imagineers outdid themselves on this one. A fun ride with exquisite detail, this attraction is sure to put a smile on your face and magic in your heart. The Imagineers even made waiting in line an enjoyable experience with the touchscreen gem games to play. Inside the loading area, the remarkable detail continues with the pervading mine like tone right out of the movie. Once on the ride, your children’s eyes light up as the coaster slows down and enters a mine filled with dwarfs and a dazzling array of gems and jewels. But it doesn’t end there! As their eyes return to normal, their jaws will drop as they pass Snow White’s cottage – thatched roof and all – only to catch glimpses of the enchanting princess dancing inside with a dwarf. 1.) One Man’s Dream at Hollywood Studios. As a history buff, One Man’s Dream at Hollywood Studios was an absolute thrill to experience. It includes a museum of rare artifacts – from Walt’s childhood school desk to his office the way he left it – as well as a 15 minute movie on the man and his creation, plus much more! And this isn’t just for adults – my six year old daughter loved this attraction so much, she not only asked to keep going back but she also searched high and low on YouTube for the movie about, as she would say, “Mr. Walt Disney”. So there they are – the top five things we love about Disney World! What do you love about Disney World? Leave us your comments below!
