Fresh Italian flavor fills the room at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano. This colorful restaurant has a casual California flare with its wooden floors and furniture, and a plethora of knick-knacks on the walls with various colored lights. This vivacious restaurant offers Italian classics like crispy calamari, mozzarella and tomatoes, various flatbreads and pastas, and an array of seafood, chicken, and beef options. Looking for some interactive fun? You won’t be disappointed by heading over the 50’s Prime Time Café for lunch or dinner. This restaurant looks like a typical home straight out of the 1950’s. The décor is so authentic and I was so impressed at how vintage everything is. The waiters/waitresses are just as ‘vintage’ in their conversation and mannerisms which makes it that much more fun and unique! Join in on all the fun with your waiter and other guests (better known as ‘your cousins’) around you as you feast on classic American dishes such as the ever-popular fried chicken platter, chicken potpie, and pot roast. The food is quite tasty, but I have to say, the desserts are incredible too! With traditional American treats like warm apple crisp, hot brownie sundae, and even a peanut butter and jelly milkshake, you can’t go wrong. There is a whole lot of fun happening here, so if you’re in the mood for a grand time, check out 50’s Prime Time Café!
