“It’s something that will never be finished, something that I can keep developing…and adding to.”—Walt Disney

Walt Disney said this about his first theme park, Disneyland in California. Even though he passed away before Disney World in Florida was completed, the Disney Imagineers have continued to abide by this principle. No matter how often you go, there’s always something new to experience. Here are 7 new things to do at Disney World.

7. Festival of Fantasy Parade – The Magic Kingdom has had an afternoon parade for many, many years. Recently, a new parade was installed in the 3:00 time slot. Sporting several new floats and a fire-breathing dragon, this parade is themed after many of the characters from Fantasyland. Be on the look-out for your favorite Disney Princesses, Little Mermaid characters, your friends from Peter Pan, and of course, Mickey and Minnie.

6. Memento Mori – Are you a Haunted Mansion fan? Be sure to stop by this newly re-themed gift shop as you exit the attraction. This shop features creative and unique merchandise from your favorite spooky friends. Plus there are some fantastic special effects that happen periodically.

5. Frozen Summer Fun Live – Even though this event was intended for Summer 2014, it proved so popular, Disney has decided to continue it into 2015. Located at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can ice skate, build snowmen, see Anna and Elsa in a special parade, sing along with your favorite Frozen songs, and see a special fireworks show.

4. Spice Road Table – Located in World Showcase in Epcot, this fun restaurant has a lakeside location with stunning views. Featuring Mediterranean small plates and specialty entrées, this is a great location to sit and relax after a day at Epcot. Tip: Disney has recently added this restaurant to its dining reservation system. Call 407-WDW-DINE up 180 days out to book your table.

3. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – Disney recently concluded it’s largest-ever expansion of Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom. The signature attraction is the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Based on the Snow White movie, this family-friendly roller coaster combines with a classic Disney dark ride (indoor) attraction. The attention to detail here is jaw-dropping! The queue is interactive and the cars “swivel” as you ride, making for a very smooth coaster experience.

2. Marketplace Co-Op – This new shopping venue is located in the Downtown Disney Marketplace, in the space formerly occupied by Team Mickey. The concept is supposed to be a “shop within shops”. It will include such spaces as Beautifully Disney – beauty items; Cherry Tree Lane – scarves, shoes, bags and jewelry; D-Tech on Demand – A place to personalize and customize your own electronic accessories; The Trophy Room- sports apparel and collectibles; Centerpiece – Home furnishings, textiles and everyday ware; Zoey and Pickles – A girls’ destination containing the latest trends.

1.Changes in World Showcase – Improv acts have long been a part of World Showcase in Epcot, but Disney recently did an almost entire makeover with new acts to see during your next visit. Check out the Paul McKenna Band in the UK, B’net al Houwariyate in Morocco, the flag-twirling Sbandieratori Di Sansepolcro in the Italy Pavilion, and the Canadian Lumberjack Show in Canada.
