8 Sensational Disney Souvenirs that Won’t Cost You a Dime

Let’s face it, trips to Disney World can definitely hurt the pocket. Between park tickets and resort costs and food, it’s tough to spend everything you wanted to on souvenirs as well. While there are many ways to save money on souvenirs, there are also ways you can bring some home for free as well! Check out this list of eight Disney Souvenirs that won’t cost you a dime.

8. Magic Bands

I love getting new magic bands every time I go to the parks. Magic bands are your key to all the fun at Disney. They get you in the parks, open your hotel door, and you can pay for your meals and shopping with it as well if you link a credit card to it. Not only do I get to choose whatever color I want, but I can customize with my name, or the year we are going. They are included in your visit when you stay at a resort, and it’s a great way to remember all the fun you had on your trip.

7. Pins for Special Occasions

Any time you are in the parks for a special occasion, ask for a pin. They have a wide variety ranging from Anniversary, Birthday, Just Engaged, Happily Ever After, and I’m Celebrating. If it is your first time at Disney, be sure to get the “First Visit” pin. I had the chance to wear a pin for my first visit, my birthday, and just engaged as well. Sometimes the cast members can sprinkle some added pixie dust when they see these pins, so don’t hesitate to get one! You can pick them up at your hotel or at guest relations in the park.

6. Bookmark from Enchanted Tales with Belle

When you are in Magic Kingdom, be sure to stop by Enchanted Tales with Belle and try to volunteer to be a part of the action! If you are chosen, you not only get to help her story come to life, but you get a picture with Belle at the end at she passes out a special bookmark.

5. Certificates for Special Occasions

If a cast member knows it is a special occasion or witnesses something special happen, you may get a certificate that you are able to bring home with you! My fiancé and I were wearing our Just Engaged pins and while visiting the America pavilion in Epcot, a cast member asked our story and told us to hold on for a moment. He returned with a certificate commemorating the event for us to keep! It was very special and a great momento to take home, so don’t be shy and talk to the cast members! You never know what can happen.

4. Birthday cards

Often times, if you put down that you are celebrating a birthday when you book your resort, the hotel tends to do something extra special for you. Many times you will end up coming in to a special voicemail from Mickey himself, and there may even be a birthday card signed by Mickey and Minnie as well! This isn’t guaranteed, as all pixie dust isn’t guaranteed, but it certainly happens more often than not, and it is a great way to make your birthday trip extra special!

In Epcot, children can pick up a passport and do different activities in each of the pavilions. Once the activities are completed, their passports are stamped and they move on to the next. What is even better is that it is completely free and the kids can keep all of the activities that they do in each of the pavilions!

1. Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom

Back in the Magic Kingdom, you can play a game called Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. This is a card game where you fight villains throughout the park.
