Have You Tried These Top 5 Quick Service Dining Locations at Animal Kingdom?

Harambe

At Animal Kingdom, there are not a lot of choices for table service dining. Guests can only choose between Yak and Yeti, Tusker House, and the Rainforest Café. Luckily, there are a bevy of quick service dining locations that cater to every taste and craving. Here is our list of the top five locations at the Animal Kingdom that you should check out on your next trip there!

5 – Eight Spoon Café – this small kiosk is located on Discovery Island just before the bridge to Asia. While it is easy to dismiss and walk past this restaurant, you shouldn’t. Guests who are looking for a quick snack can find the iconic Mickey pretzel, as well as the elusive jalapeño Mickey pretzel. Guests looking for something heartier and more adventurous can find a baked three-cheese pasta or baked lobster macaroni and cheese! On a recent trip, there was no line to grab something delicious to eat from here!

4 – Flame Tree Barbecue – as you walk towards Dinoland from Discovery Island, it is impossible to miss the sweet smells coming from this restaurant. Guests have their choice of savory barbecue choices from ribs, chicken, and pulled pork. They even serve a Jamaican jerk chicken, as well as some inspired salads. If someone in your group is truly famished, they can always get the infamous turkey leg at this location, too. We also like Flame Tree because, even though it is a quick service location, they accept the Tables in Wonderland dining discount card!

3 – Yak and Yeti Local Food Café – if you don’t have the time or cannot get into eat at the sit-down location, this counter-service location is directly to the right of the entrance. Guests are treated to a smaller menu of the more popular dishes. You can choose among the honey chicken, Korean barbecue chicken, or the teriyaki beef bowl. Side dishes of pork rolls and salads are also available, too!

2 – Harambe Market – it is hard for me to pick a favorite among the three new locations that call Harambe Market home. Each of these locations in the market have a signature dish and they are all great! Guests can pick from spice-rubbed Karubi ribs, a chicken skewer, and all-beef gyro, or a beef and pork curried corn dog. There is plenty of seating in the market for your group and you may just want to try more than one of these delicious choices!

1 – Trilo-Bites – Trilo-Bites is a changing entity. Rarely have we seen the same menu at this location for longer than a month. They don’t offer a lot of choices, but what is on the menu is very inventive. Currently, they are serving up buffalo chicken waffle slider – SO GOOD! They also serve up some kind of dessert creation, too, but the creative entreés are what you’ll want to save precious stomach room for!

Animal Kingdom has a vast array of food for you to choose from because of the areas of the world showcased in the park. Don’t be hesitant to sample something new at one of the kiosks and certainly do not overlook them as many have fantastic food choices for you and your family!
