Top 10 Tips from an Experienced Disney World-goer

Tomorrowland

6) How long to stay?

Recently, a colleague asked me about planning a trip to Disney World for his family. “Three or four days should be enough, right?” he asked me. I tried to be sensitive to any budget issues they might have, but I told him that would require some tough choices. Here’s my advice when considering your length of stay. You should book your trip for between 5-9 days, depending on your budget and time off from work and school. Be aware, the Magic Kingdom and Epcot are both two-day parks with a lot to offer. Animal Kingdom and the Disney Studios can be experienced in one day each. You’ll also want some time to enjoy your resort hotel, visit one of the Disney waterparks and spend some time shopping and dining at Disney Springs.
