When I was a youngster, the idea of a Disney vacation was never discussed by my family. In 1990, I took my high school band, for which I was the director. We participated in Disney’s Magic Music Days by playing a concert in the Magic Kingdom. Because I was in charge of about 100 people, I did not get much time to enjoy the parks. I remarked to my wife that we should return to Disney with just our family. Fifteen months later, we did just that! We been going regularly ever since.
