When you think Disney World, you automatically think characters; and when you think characters, you think character meals. And Disney offers plenty of those. Usually restaurants offer character meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. These restaurants can be found in both the resorts and in the parks. There are many reasons that choosing to do breakfast over lunch or dinner is a good idea. For one, it’s almost always cheaper. It also sets you up for your day and really gets the excitement going. We have come up with a list of the top 5 character breakfasts throughout Disney World.

1. Cinderella’s Royal Table

Located just steps inside Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, Cinderella’s Royal Table is the perfect dining option for any prince or princess of any age. The views of Magic Kingdom are stunning, as are the incredible, intricate details within the restaurant itself. Cinderella and friends are the focus of this restaurant. So don’t forget to bring your dress and tiara! Or crown, whichever you please! But just so you know, Cinderella’s Royal Table usually books up 180 days in advance. So make sure you make your reservations right at the 180 mark!

2. Chef Mickey’s

Most people choose Chef Mickey’s located in Disney’s Contemporary Resort to start their day. It’s the most efficient way to meet the fab five (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy) and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Not only will you be just a monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom, you will be able to see that monorail right from the restaurant itself. Beware, reservations fill up super fast. So book asap!

3. ‘Ohana

‘Ohana offers a truly unique breakfast experience that you won’t find anywhere else. The food is Polynesian inspired and is served family style. Characters such as Lilo, Stich, and even Mickey often appear, during breakfast only. This is the perfect start to your day. Whether you are staying at the Polynesian Resort, or somewhere else, everyone is welcome!

4. The Crystal Palace

Located right on Main Street USA in Magic Kingdom, The Crystal Palace is a lovely place to enjoy a great breakfast buffet and meet Winnie the Pooh and friends. Getting into the park early is one of the main draws of this option as well as the gorgeous Victorian detail and stunning views of Cinderella Castle from your table. The breakfast lasagna is also a big hit among many!

On most days, you will be able to meet princesses and characters such as, Cinderella, Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Mary Poppins.
