Top 6 Places To Eat Pizza At Walt Disney World Resort

Pizza - Via Napoli

Pizza. Everyone loves it. Kids and adults look forward to enjoying a slice of hot cheesy pizza no matter where they are, or what they’re doing. The happiest place on earth luckily offers a plethora of locations on the entire property that serve piping hot pizza tasty enough for the entire family. Here are six places to grab a slice of an Italian favorite.

6. Pizza Planet

Located in Hollywood Studios, Pizza Planet is a quick service restaurant that serves cheese, pepperoni, or vegetable personal pizzas along with various other entrée choices like meatball subs and antipasto salads. Personal sized pizzas also come with a side of Caesar salad. This restaurant also has an arcade where kids can play, just like in the original Toy Story film. I would recommend this restaurant for those wanting a quick bite to eat, or if you are just looking to purchase a meal for a child. Since this is a quick service restaurant, the pizza is not at a five star value. Pizza Planet is considered $ ($14.99 and under per person) and is included in select Disney Dining Plans.

5. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano

If you would like to have a sit down meal and relax, recharge your batteries while dining at Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano. Located in Hollywood Studios, Mama Melrose’s offers an array of Italian cuisine, including some great flatbreads! Choose from rosemary chicken, grilled vegetable, margherita, and carne d’italia flatbreads, great for an appetizer or an entrée for yourself! The atmosphere here is very lively and fun, perfect for the whole family. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italino is considered $$ ($15-$29.99 per person) and is included in select Disney Dining Plans.

4. Pizza Window at The Boardwalk Resort

The Boardwalk at the Boardwalk Resort is a Disney fan favorite to visit. Enjoy an array of shops, restaurants, bakery, and fun atmosphere with music, magic shows, northeast boardwalk style games, funnel cake carts, and many more activities to keep the magic alive. One of my favorite things to do at the Boardwalk is grab a slice (or a pie if my whole party would like some) of pizza, snag a table by the lake, and enjoy the festivities that the Boardwalk has to offer. The Boardwalk window serves pizza by the slice, or you can buy an entire pie for around $20. Choose from classic cheese, spicy pepperoni, or the Boardwalk signature pizza, which includes roasted garlic, mushroom, and spinach. This is a great place to unwind, yet still enjoy Disney’s magic after a long park day. The Boardwalk pizza window is considered a quick service restaurant and is classified as $ ($14.99 and under per person) and is also included in select Disney Dining Plans.

3. Portobello Country Italian Trattoria

If you’re ready for a date night or want to spend time with adults in a more chic atmosphere, head on over to Disney Springs and check out Portobello Country Italian Trattoria. Whether you sit inside and enjoy the warm colored elusive décor, or enjoy dining right on the Lake Buena Vista Lagoon outside, you’ll be whisked away to the old country of Italy with hearty flavors true to the country of love. Enjoy an assortment of wood burning pizza options including pepperoni, Quattro Formaggio, Power, Funghi, Margherita, and Italian sausage. There are also whole wheat pizza options on the children’s menu, should you choose to dine here with your family. The ambiance here is exquisite and beautiful in the evening. Portobello Country Italian Trattoria is classified as $ ($15.00-$29.99 per person) and is also included in select Disney Dining Plans.

2. Il Mulino

Another great restaurant, geared more for adults, is Il Mulino, located at the Swan and Dolphin Resort. This signature restaurant is the epitome of classic and chic and is absolutely perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening meal. Savor authentic Italian cuisine, including pizzas like Margherita, Bosco, Rustica, and Tre Formaggi. These pizzas are truly delicious and are great for sharing or as an entrée. Il Mulino is New York City’s number 1 Italian restaurant for over 20 years, and its Orlando outlet is no different. The brick walls, steel lamps, dark wood furniture, and classic dark colors are perfect for an intimate dining experience. Il Mulino is classified as $$$ ($30- $59.99 per person) and does not participate in any of the Disney Dining Plans.

1. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

It’s Amore in the Italian pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria is one of the best places on the Walt Disney World property to indulge in authentic Italian cuisine. After all, it is located right inside the Italian pavilion. This restaurant is adorned with beautiful Italian art and inviting colors, making it perfect for a family dining experience. My favorite part of this restaurant has to be the unique open wood-fired ovens, each named for the active volcanoes in Italy: Vesuvio, Stromboli, and Etna. These wood-fired ovens are what make their pizza so tasty and delicious. Since this restaurant specializes in pizza, there are over 20 varieties to choose from! Some are offered as individual slices, while others are served in a full pie. Choose from favorite meats, veggies, and cheeses to make your pizza as unique as you are. Everyone’s palette is sure to be pleased here! Via Napoli is considered $$ ($15-$29.99 per person) and is also included in select dining plans.

About Natalie

Natalie is an elementary school teacher and a native Floridian who lives and breathes all things Disney. Her love for Disney started at the age of two during her first visit, and has continued to flourish into her adult life. She loves to share her Disney passion with her students and believes Disney is so special because there is no other place to forget about your worries and be a kid again, which is why she refuses to ‘grow up’.
