Did you know there are things you can do as a park guest that will make your day go smoother and more magically at the happiest place on earth? It’s true, join us in this article to learn ten clever tips for doing Magic Kingdom park!
10. Mark Your Stroller
With so many strollers crowding stroller parking near attractions, it can be easy to lose track of which one is yours. Mark your stroller with a bright bandana or tag that you will recognize right away when you are squinting in the sun, going back to retrieve the stroller after exiting a ride.
9. Bag Check Friendly
Going through bag check at the parks is not super fun, but it needn’t be a long experience. Simplify the bag check process, and lighten your park pack load by only bringing the essentials in the park. Don’t squeeze everything possible in the tight space inside your bag when leaving your resort, because the security officer that checks your bad will have to unpack it all again and you will be left scrambling to repack the overstuffed bag after security check.
Lastly, avoid small bags within bags. I love separating my drinks, camera, toiletries etc. out into small makeup bags in my park pack to stay better organized. However, bags within a bag have to be opened and checked too – leading to a much longer bag check process for everyone involved.
8. Use a Paper Map
Sure, the myDisneyexpereince app has park maps, but flipping open the app all day really drains your cell phone battery. Snag a paper map at the entrance to parks or at your resort hotel to scope out the attractions before your park day starts. I love saving park maps for crafts after I have used them on vacation and retuned home.
