5. Making a Splash

With two of its four animated themes diving deep into aquatic adventure, it should come as no surprise that one of the resort’s most notable highlights surrounds swimming. Take the plunge in three different onsite pools—the Cozy Cone, Flippin’ Fins, and the Big Blue Pool. The Cozy Cone follows the Cars theme, with cone-shaped cabanas and life-sized models of your favorite characters from the film. Flippin’ Fins carries the Little Mermaid theme. But it’s the Finding Nemo-themed Big Blue Pool that takes the cake. At 308,527 gallons (and a total area of 11,859 square feet) this pool currently holds the record for being the largest Disney World Resort Pool at any hotel to date. As you enjoy underwater adventures you will also enjoy the sounds of underwater music, as this pool even features built-in speakers under the water!
