5. FastPass+

Staying at any Disney World Resort also comes with the added benefit of using the FastPass+ option. In general, FastPass+ selections may be made 30 days in advance for up to three attractions per day in a single park. But guests staying onsite get to make their selections 60 days prior to their trip. The FastPass system was first introduced by the Walt Disney Company in 1999 and in short is simply a method for making a reservation to experience a certain attraction during a designated timeslot. Further enhancements were later introduced. Now when you go online to link your park admission you will be given the option to select from a list of experiences which ones you would like to reserve FastPasses for. Please note each member of your party has their own list to select from, so if you have two or more people wishing to make different selections, no one is locked into doing the same things at the same time. Once you’ve used up your FastPass+ options made in advance you may then select an additional experience (one at a time) on the same day from either an onsite FastPass+ kiosk or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.
