10 Splurge-Worthy Experiences at Walt Disney World

Disney Annual Pass

2. Disney World Platinum Annual Passes - $904 to $1,010

If your family is anything like mine, you don’t have to live close to Disney in order to be there every 6 to 12 months. The minute school is out for summer, we’re packed up and headed to our happy place! We stay for nearly 3 weeks at a time, and years ago, we were sad when our 10th day in the parks had ended. No more days in the parks. No more enjoying the parks, eating at our favorite Disney World restaurants in the parks and no more enjoying our favorite attractions. So we did what any self-respecting Disney World fanatic family would do—we bought Platinum Annual Passes. And it’s important to mention that we don’t live very close to the parks. In fact, we live 1,100 miles away in a big place called Texas. It’s the best thing we’ve ever done! Not only do we have unlimited days in the parks with no blockout dates, but we also enjoy a 20% discount on merch we buy in the parks. We even get discounts at some of our favorite restaurants. Annual Passes are a win-win-win for us, and they will be for you too. The cost is $904 for kids, ages 3 – 9, and $1,010 for adults, ages 10 and up, including tax. Note: these are prices for non-Florida resident Platinum passes only.
