10.  You need at least a full day

When Animal Kingdom first opened, it was notoriously referred to as a “half day park.” Guests would typically go to Animal Kingdom in the morning, then leave to visit Disney Springs (or as it was then called, Downtown Disney) in the evening. Some guests would even limit their time in the park to only a couple of hours, spending the morning at the pool at their resort and visiting Animal Kingdom “later” at about 3:00 when the crowds began to thin out. This is not the case anymore. With expanded entertainment and new nighttime offerings particularly with Rivers of Light and Pandora: World of Avatar, Animal Kingdom is officially a full day, if not full day and a half, park.
