10 Ways to Outwit the Crowds on Your Disney Vacation

Do Not Go To Disney In April

2.  Arrive Early

"Rope drop" is Disney lingo for a park's opening.  If you arrive at least 30 minutes before park opening (closer to 45 if you're traveling at the very busiest times) you'll find yourself ahead of the crowds with the ability to experience the park's most popular attractions before long lines form.

3.  Have a Daily Plan in Advance

Getting to the parks early really helps you beat the crowds.  But, in order to do that, you'll want to have an itinerary planned in advance so you know which park you're going to visit each day.  Waking up in the morning and deciding where to go can be fun, especially later in your trip if you have some extra time.  However, the decision-making and potential disagreements can really interfere with a family's ability to get up and out the door in the morning in a timely manner!
