11 Disney World Dining Options That Won't Break Your Budget

Pecos Bill

5. Sleepy Hollow – The Magic Kingdom

For those looking for an even cheapermeal in the mothership park, the quick-service Sleepy Hollow counter was a hidden secret for far too long. Featuring breakfast waffles, savory waffle sandwiches, fresh funnel cakes, hazelnut chocolate waffles, and homemade ice cream sandwiches – no selection will leave a guest hungry. Tucked right inside the entrance to Liberty Square, you are perfectly positioned to grab your meal and snag a spot for the Muppet show, afternoon parade, or castle show. The only problem is you may be tempted to go back for seconds…

6. Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn & Cafe – The Magic Kingdom

If waffle-based meals aren’t your thing, then you can satisfy your carnivore cravings at the quick-service restaurant Pecos Bills. Drink in the rustic Frontierland theming as you chow down on burgers, tacos, fajitas, and other southwest-inspired fare. Also, there is an unlimited burger toppings bar that is very generous in its unique and high-quality items! (It’s been said that you can practically make a salad from the toppings bar alone.) Just avoid eating here at peak lunch and dinner times, and you will have a delicious and successful experience.

7. Flame Tree Barbecue – The Animal Kingdom

The Animal Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom Lodge are both renowned for inventive and high-quality dining options. Many may not realize that there is another mouthwatering, quick-service spot right within view. The Flame Tree Barbecue stand smokes their meats onsite and offers a menu of juicy pulled pork, tender ribs, and other filling picnic sides. Many of the portions are shareable and if you can’t decide what to order, the platter combos will satisfy your curiosity. Trust us. Resist the urge to grab chicken fingers and instead, fill your tummy with exceptional barbecue.

8. Sunshine Seasons – EPCOT

EPCOT’s World Showcase may be known for its fabulous international cuisine, but one of the best quick-service options actually resides in Future World. This diverse food court offers several counters with a variety of entrees, soups, sandwiches, farm-to-table salads and veggies, and homemade desserts to choose from. With almost every option knocking it out of the park, it will be challenging to make your selection. Luckily, Sunshine Seasons is open for three meals a day and return visits will not be frowned upon! (May I highly suggest the wood-grilled salmon and a slice of key lime pie?)
