5. Don’t Save Packing Till the Last Minute
Use packing for your vacation as a way to hype up and get excited. Snatch out those suitcases and start packing early to ensure you have ample time to think through your packing list. Getting a head start will reduce last minute stress and help you remember all you need.
6. Bring The Essentials With You
Speaking of essentials, research must have Disney items before your vacation to ensure you are not making any unplanned trips to the store when you arrive in Orlando. Things like rain gear, sun gear, a bag of over the counter medications and appropriate park wear are all make or break items that you will need for a Disney vacation. Buying these items as you need them on vacation takes time way from the fun and can add up to be much more costly than buying items at home.
7. Reserve Those FastPass+ Times
Do not wait to reserve your golden ticket! FastPass+ is your pass to a shorter wait time. Purchase your park tickets months ahead of your vacation to ensure you have as much time as possible to plan your schedule. Strategize which attractions you want to use FastPass+ for and make a plan. When your booking window opened, hop on the Disney app with your FastPass+ plan and reserve the passes your family wants.
8. Prepare the Family
Talk to little ones about walking and wait times that are the downside of Disney parks in an effort to minimize meltdown material. Remind them that some ride queues have fun games and things to see as you wait for your ride time. Get your family amped up for the vacation by planning and anticipating the vacation together. Watch Disney movies and fun YouTube videos that other park guests have posted to get excited for all you will enjoy in the parks.
