13 Foods You Must Try At Epcot's World Showcase Pavilions

11. Germany’s Bratwurst and Frankfurters

While bountiful buffet-seekers thoroughly enjoy the year-round Oktoberfest scene prevalent at the Germany Pavilion’s Biergarten Restaurant, there are other options for tucking into smaller yet delicious traditional fare as well. One such quick service hub that boasts the basic German classics is Sommerfest. Sommerfest specializes in both authentic Frankfurters as well as German Bratwurst, with each offering served up on freshly baked rolls along with sauerkraut and house-made paprika chips.

Other uniquely German accompanying sides to enjoy here include Nudel Gratin, which is a baked macaroni with cheese custard, and Cold Macaroni Salad prepared in the distinctly German way using eggs. And you can’t say no to a classic Jumbo Pretzel, available here as well as at other places around the Germany Pavilion. Whether you’ve been “Frank” or “Bratty” with your meal, conventional desserts to help polish things off at Sommerfest include both Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce as well as decadent Black Forest Cake.

10. The American Adventure’s American Dream

There’s a broad array of traditional American cuisine classics to be enjoyed all throughout the different Disney World Parks. But to sample some of the more unique signature concoctions crafted to celebrate Americana just head over to Epcot’s American Adventure Pavilion and the quick service stop Fife & Drum Tavern. Here you’ll find a “refreshing” and novel take on American tastes with several one-of-a-kind cool drink variations.

The “I Am Root Beer” float signature with whipped cream and mint leaves is one such example, but for many the ultimate must-have is the American Dream slushy. This patriotic palate pleaser is a compilation of frozen strawberries, blueberries, and vanilla ice cream, blissfully blended into an icy beverage perfect on a scorching hot day. It’s great to enjoy as is but also makes the perfect pairing with one of many other Fife & Drum offerings, like a Jumbo Turkey Leg, Mickey Shaped Pretzel, or even with a bucket of popcorn.

9. Lucky Combo in China

Epcot’s China Pavilion presents a wide range of options available at various different establishments. And if you’re looking for a great lighter option then you’re in luck with the Lucky Combo offered at the Joy of Tea kiosk. As the name implies, this quick service snack stop is primarily recognized for its many different varieties of tea and tea-fusion drinks, like smoothie blends, bubble tea, and even specialty cocktails.

They also carry limited light snack selections as well as ice cream available in Strawberry Red Bean and Caramel Ginger flavors. So you can’t go wrong in ordering the Lucky Combo option here, which includes their signature Curry Chicken Pockets, a choice of two egg roll selections, a soft drink, and ice cream.
