13 Tips for Getting the Most Out of Your Visit to Epcot

We love Epcot! It’s the largest of the parks at Walt Disney World, has plenty to do for guests of all ages, and is the perfect place to have a fun and educational day. Because there’s so much to discover at Epcot, it can often be challenging to do everything in one day, or even in one visit to Walt Disney World. Fortunately, we’ve developed a few tips for you to help you get the most out of your next Epcot visit!

1. Get a Park Map

This one may be obvious, and seasoned Disney-goers may not think they need one, but a map can work wonders! Not only can maps help you navigate the park or tell you where certain rides, attractions, and restaurants are, but it can let you know about any new attractions that have popped up since your last visit. Having a map can be more helpful than you thought, especially because there’s so much to explore at Epcot. If you haven't already, download the MyDisneyExperience app! It has built in maps and wait times for rides at your finger tips!

2. Make a Park Plan

It’s hard to do everything in one day, especially when you have so much ground to cover at Epcot. Having a plan before you get to the park can help you narrow down the attractions you want to do or want to skip, help you plan dining reservations or FastPass+ times, and allow you to get the most out of your day in the park!

3. Arrive at Park Opening

If you really want to get the most out of the park, arrive as it opens for the day! There’s plenty to do and see, so you’ll want to have plenty of time to tackle your park plan.

4. Get a FastPass+ For Popular Attractions

Frozen Ever After, Test Track, and Soarin’ are the three most popular rides in Epcot, which means they have the longest lines. To skip these lines and enjoy more of the park, try getting FastPasses+ for these attractions! Make sure you schedule them appropriately, and keep in mind that Test Track and Soarin’ are in Future World, while Frozen Ever After is in the Norway pavilion in the World Showcase. Don’t rush back and forth between the areas unless you have to!
