5 Biggest Changes Coming to Walt Disney World in 2018 and 2019

The theme parks are constantly undergoing changes at Walt Disney World.  New attractions are built.  Dining options are changed.  New characters come to call certain parks home.  So whenever you plan a trip to Walt Disney World, it is worth considering the state of construction and destruction around the resort.  You’ll want to consider whether or not you want to deal with jumping around construction projects and walls when visiting or do you want to delay your trip a year so you can experience a new attraction or restaurant on your vacation.  As we approach 2021, Walt Disney World has put construction and re-design into full gear so guests from all over the world can celebrate Disney World’s 50th birthday in style!  Here is our list of the top five biggest changes coming to Walt Disney World in 2018 and 2019!

1. Disney Skyliner

As Disney tempts more and more people to visit the resort, they must deal with their infrastructure problem so they can quickly and easily shuttle guests are between the parks and the resorts. Currently, guests can get where they need to go through bus, boat, monorail, Minnie Van, and good old-fashioned walking.  The Disney Skyliner will transport guests from Epcot and Hollywood Studios to several resorts: Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, Art of Animation, and finally, the new Disney Riviera Resort.  Not only will this transportation system ease the demands on other forms of transportation, it will also offer new, stunning views of various areas of the parks!
