7. The Storyline

Love: The background of Avatar Flight of Passage involves the Pandora Conservation Initiative coming in to restore and protect Pandora after the disastrous aftermath of the Resources Development Administration’s mining practices.  Now, in association with Alpha Centauri Expeditions, tourists are offered the opportunity to link with an avatar and experience the exhilaration of flying on the back of a mountain banshee.  The ride queue reflects the detailed storyline, with an underground industrial complex, laboratory facilities, and an avatar floating in an amnio tank.  (An incredibly lifelike avatar, while we’re at it.)  Guests then move on to the link chamber where their adventure begins.  Disney nailed the theme on this one.
