6 Things We Love about Morocco in Walt Disney's Epcot

Restaurant Marrakesh

4. The Food is Incredible

One of the best things about the World Showcase is that it...well, showcases all kinds of foods from around the globe. In the Morocco pavilion, you'll find Moroccan- and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine that will transport your tastebuds to a distant land.

At the Tangierine Café counter-service restaurant, treat yourself to an authentic shawarma platter (hi, Avengers!) or saffron rotisserie chicken, followed by one of their specialty coffee beverages (with or without liqueur).

Or, if you prefer a slower dining experience, stop in at Restaurant Marrakesh to feast on the exotic flavors of Morocco whilst being entertained by belly dancers. Where else in Disney World will you find that? (As a side note, because the food here is so unusual compared to what most Americans are used to, it's super easy to get a table at Restaurant Marrakesh, sometimes even without a reservation.)

If you want the perfect view of the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth nighttime spectacular in the World Showcase Lagoon, we recommend Spice Road Table, which is located right along the shore of the lagoon and not only offers an intimate waterfront view that will have you saying "Wow!" when the fireworks start—if you're lucky enough to snag an outdoor table—it also serves up loads of Mediterranean flavor via small plates and specialty entrées.
