6. Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

It’s like transcending back in time to Colonial Mexico at this Moderate Resort marvel. From the traditional southwestern décor, architecture, and theme to the vast array of onsite amenities and features, you’ll find yourself lapping up a Latin experience full of enchantment and wonder. There are a vast variety of diverse accommodations available, from standard rooms to more spacious suites, which come in various distinctions. Hotel lodgings are divided into three villages. The buildings making up the Ranchos follow an old western theme while the Cabanas are more reminiscent of the coast and feature adobe architecture. The Casitas are located within the most convenient range of the main buildings and activity centers, and some of their suites even sleep up to six or eight guests.

The Lost City of Cibola Pool features a 50-foot pyramid centerpiece, a waterslide spanning 123 feet, a “spitting” jaguar, and other unearthed treasured delights to behold. The stellar Pepper Market food court boasts seven distinct serving stations and an array of profuse selections, from authentic Mexican morsels to all the familiar American favorites you know and love. For an indulgent dinner featuring savory southwestern tastes and Tex-Mex classics there’s Maya Grill—an enticing experience for sure, with traditional décor and theming adding the perfect touch to the mood. Other favorite onsite dining spots serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily are Las Ventanas and Café Rix. There are also various bar lounges around the resort where you can sip the splendor of old Mexico.
