2. Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds

Campers rejoice! You can still experience all the same magic of staying on Disney Resort property while taking in an authentic campsite experience with Fort Wilderness. More than 750 wooded acres encompass the grounds of this resort with all the tranquility and nature you’d expect to find deep within the reaches of a remote camping site. It’s surprising to think that you are really only just a short boat ride away from the lively Magic Kingdom Park.

Accommodations range from nearly 800 traditional sites as well as rustic-themed wilderness cabins. The aforementioned sites come equipped with electricity hookups, working water, sanitary disposal, free Wi-Fi and cable, paved driveways, picnic and cookout pads, and resort wide efficiency features like ice machines, restrooms with private showers, laundry facilities, and air-conditioned comfort stations.
