A 5 Day Plan for Your Disney World Trip

Tree of Life

Day 4: Animal Kingdom

Now that you are rested and recharged, itโ€™s time to hit the park at rope drop again and dash right to Flight of Passage in Pandora. After wrapping up this awesome attraction spend the morning enjoying your FastPass+ reservations (hopefully you snagged Expedition Everest and Kilimanjaro Safari) and walking through animal habitats. Be sure to chat with the cast members posted throughout the animal habitats. You can learn so much about the animals from cast members. Mid-morning snackers need to try the roasted corn in Harmabe, you will smell it before you see it and it ranks among my favorite park snacks.

Kali River Rapids

During the hotter parts of the day head to air conditioned attractions like Itโ€™s Tough to Be a Bug and Dinosaur or beat the heat by getting drenched on Kali River Rapids. Remember to reserve more FastPass+ times after you have used your previously reserved passes and be sure to snag a time (or wait in the standby line) for Naโ€™vi River Journey in Pandora.

Pandora
Pandora

Speaking of Pandora, consider having lunch in Satuโ€™li Canteen and enjoying the roasted meat and grain bowls. Depending on the time you finish playing in the park you may want to head back to your hotel to get some rest before heading back out for dinner. We recommend a character meal on the fourth night of your vacation. Some great options are 1900 Park Fare or Chef Mickeyโ€™s.

Day 5: Epcot

If you are a breakfast lover consider kicking off your last park day with a bottomless breakfast with Chip and Dale at Garden Grill in Epcot. This rotating restaurant serves up fresh Disney themed breakfast while guests see the ecosystems in Living with the Land, the ride below the restaurant. After breakfast start your tour of Future World by visiting Test Track, The Living Seas and of course the attractions in The Land.

World Showcase Lagoon

Hopefully you have a FastPass+ for Soarinโ€™ Around the World, if not hop in the standby line because itโ€™s worth the wait. Sampling the food and drink around World Showcase and enjoying the attractions, Character Greetings and shopping in the countries are my favorite activities in this park. Watch acrobats, bands, dancers and other entertainers in countries around World Showcase during your afternoon.

Boardwalk Inn

If you need to break from the parks consider exiting the back gate of Epcot and checking out the resorts along the Disney Boardwalk. You can pop onto the back patio of the Yacht Club to relax in a rocking chair or cool off in a resort lobby. Finish your day with dinner in World Showcase.

Some of my favorite table service eateries are in Epcot so you really cannot go wrong with Epcot dining. If you are looking for a quirk and cheaper option there are so many delicious quick service eateries around the countries to choose from. Close your magical vacation by watching the Epcot Forever Show. Snag a pastry from the France on your way out of the park or to eat while you enjoy the show.
