5. Caribbean Beach Resort
This resort is fairly centrally located on property, so it is a good pick for families looking to be in the center of the action and not have to lose precious time with transportation to and from the parks or Disney Springs. The Caribbean Beach Resort is the oldest of the moderate resorts, so rooms tend to be just a little larger giving families so additional space to spread out. The resort itself is sprawling which can be a drawback as there are many internal bus stops when you are heading out to the parks. Some of the issues will be addressed with the renovations preceding the opening of the newest DVC resort, the Riviera, which will be situated on the Caribbean Beach property. Additionally, Caribbean Beach will be home to one of the Disney Skyliner stops once it opens, so this could be a highly sought after resort in the years to come. Currently, guests can also get added theming on their stay by staying in one of the intricately themed pirate rooms!
