An Overview of Walt Disney World’s 5 Value Resorts

Art of Animation

2. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort

Hang out with Ariel, Sebastian and King Triton from Disney’s The Little Mermaid at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Or maybe you’re more into hanging with Simba and company from Disney’s The Lion King. How about Dory, Nemo, Crush and friends from Disney/PIXAR’s Finding Nemo or Lightning McQueen and his crew from Disney/PIXAR’s Cars? At the Art of Animation Resort, you won’t have to choose because the gang’s all here! Take the family poolside at the Cozy Cone Pool or the Flippin’ Fins Pool. Or for an experience unlike any other, head to the Big Blue pool—Disney World’s largest swimming pool and the only pool with underwater speakers—you can hear Dory and Nemo when you’re underwater! Take a break with snacks and something cool to drink from the Drop Off poolside bar. Hungry for more than just snacks? Head inside to the Landscape of Flavors food court, which features 5 food shops—including a made-to-order pizza and pasta station. Looking for a really unique experience? Head out past the resort near Hourglass Lake and rent a surrey bike for 30 minutes or an hour at a time and take in scenic views from around the lake.
