Breaking News: Fire Breaks Out at EPCOT’s Norway Pavilion

As reported by News 6 Orlando

This afternoon the Reedy Creek Fire department responded to a small fire at the Norway pavilion at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Resort, Disney officials said.

The small fire broke out in the construction area of the new “Frozen” attraction at Epcot’s Norway Pavilion.

For a short time the entrance to the Norway pavilion was closed

Disney officials said the fire ignited in the back of the pavilion and was extinguished.

Thankfully there were no injuries or major damage reported and normal park operations have resumed.

Orlando’s News 6 helicopter Sky 6 flew over the park and spotted fire trucks on scene.

EPCOT plans on opening the “Frozen” attraction sometime in later 2016.
