To say that the weeks leading up to that of Christmas and New Year will be quiet at Walt Disney World Resort would cause one’s nose to grow a little longer. That said, they’re certainly quieter than the week of Christmas and New Year, which is, to no surprise, insanely-busy, and with Disney Resort Hotel prices considerably higher.

If you want to experience the celebrations at more affordable prices then pick one of the weeks prior. You may even end up with some leftover cash to treat yourself - sorry, your loved ones – to extra gifts. Celebrations usually run from early/mid-November through early January, but during this season it feels like Christmas every day anyway!
