Disney Resorts With the Easiest Access to the Parks

Depending on what you are hoping to accomplish on your next trip to Disney World, you may want to consider staying at one of the Disney Resorts that offers easy access to the theme parks.  By staying close to the theme parks, you cut down on the time that you spend waiting for a bus and making your way to the fun.  Here is our list of the resorts that offer the easiest access to the theme parks!

Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

Located on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon, the Grand Floridian is very close to the Magic Kingdom.  Guests staying here can easily access the Magic Kingdom through a multitude of transportation options — first, guests can climb aboard the Resort Monorail system for service to the park, as well as the other resorts on the Monorail Line.  Guests wanting a more relaxing method of transport can hop aboard a boat for scenic trip across the Seven Seas Lagoon and disembark at the gates of the Magic Kingdom.  And very soon, guests can choose to walk from their accommodations along the footpath to the gates of the park!

Polynesian Village Resort

Located next door to the Grand Floridian, guests staying at this deluxe resort have the same transportation options available to them.  However, if guests choose to travel via the Resort Monorail system, be advised the monorail stops at the Grand Floridian before continuing onto the Magic Kingdom.  While guests will soon be able to walk to the Magic Kingdom, the walk from this resort may be just a little too far, especially if you are traveling with a larger group.

Yacht and Beach Club

Guests staying at these wonderful resorts are treated to accommodations on the shores of Crescent Lake and only a small walk to Epcot….and Hollywood Studios!  We cannot overstate the value of staying so close to either of these parks.  At the end of the long day while guests are queuing up for a bus, it can be a relief to simply continue walking directly to your resort.  Guests at these resorts also have the option of climbing aboard a Friendship Boat and continuing to either of Epcot or Hollywood Studios, or to one of the other thrilling Crescent Lake Resorts!
