Another one of those Disney terms you need to understand is PhotoPass. There are PhotoPass photographers stationed all around the parks, and you can have your picture made free of charge. However, to get prints of the photos they take will cost you. You can purchase prints per photo, or take advantage of the PhotoPass Memory Maker, where you pay a flat fee for ability to download all PhotoPass pictures straight to your computer or smartphone - or both. This is a great idea for many families, and a great way to get lots of pictures of good quality. Usually the photographers take multiple pictures, scan your Magic Band and you can view the pictures on the My Disney Experience app shortly. Only one member of your party must purchase Memory Maker, and everyone in your group will be able to add pictures to the group Memory Maker.
