Walt Disney World is the happiest place on earth, but this happy place has really amazing aspects as well. Disney vacations often amp up the wow factor with beauty, sentiment, amazing special effects, attention to detail and any number of other special touches that resonate with guests. Fireworks atop the Contemporary Resort

Disney fireworks are out of this world. Ending the day with the Magic Kingdom fireworks display is breathtaking in itself but is an extra special experience from the comfort of the Contemporary Resort roof. Following a meal at the incredible California Grill restaurant guests are invited back up to an exclusive fireworks viewing area atop the resort to enjoy the stunning view and music piped in from the parks. This is a breathtaking must do Disney experience.

Soarin’ Around the World

The traveler in me thrills at a ride on Epcot’s Soarin’ Around the World. This hang glider style simulator ride takes guests around the world to major landmarks and amazing natural sites on numerous continents. Something about virtually viewing Serengeti National Park, and the Eiffel Tower from the air is always jaw dropping and fun for my family. The views on this ride truly are breathtaking and may even be beautiful enough to inspire some future vacation planning.

Moonlit Monorail Views

The illuminated castle, Main Street, U.S.A. aglow with lights and each resort standing guard around Bay Lake in the evening, makes a moonlit monorail ride one of my favorite out of park evening activities. Hop on and off at resorts to take a walk along the resort beach or enjoy a cocktail at a resort bar. If you want to view Happily Ever After fireworks outside the park, consider posting up on the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
