Disney World Vocabulary 101 - Terms You Should Know Before You Go

My Disney Experience

14. My Disney Experience

This is the app and website that Disney created to allow guests to plan and organize their vacations.  Through the app, guests can access park maps, hours, current wait times for attractions, make and cancel dining reservations, as well as see, view, and coordinate plans with linked friends and family!  We definitely recommend guests downloading the app and creating a profile before arriving on property!

13. Memory Maker

Memory Maker is an additional package guests can purchase so they can view, download, edit, and print all of the photographs taken by photographers and the rides while on property.  Memory Maker is currently included as part of some annual passholder packages, but can also be purchased separately.  If purchased before arriving on property, the cost will be less than if you wait to buy once you arrive for your vacation.

12. PhotoPass

PhotoPass refers to the actual photographs taken by Disney photographers throughout the parks and stationed at certain character interactions.  It also includes the ride photos taken as guests enjoy the magic and fun of the various attractions throughout the four theme parks and two water parks!

11. Disney’s Magic Express

This term refers to the transportation system that takes some of the hassle out of arriving at Walt Disney World, as well as when it is time to go.  Disney’s Magical Express will transport guests to and from the Orlando airport, as well as take care of the luggage.  Guests can walk off their plane, hop on the bus, and be transported to their resorts while Disney worries about transporting the bags!
