Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival Just Got Better - For Kids!

Remy Emile

4. Disney Du Jour Dance Party

Epcot is always a great place to meet characters, and this year Food and Wine Festival offers yet another way to interact with some of your favorites. This fun dance party features hit songs, games, and a concert from a Radio Disney star. Join the party Fridays and Saturdays from 5:30-9:30 at Fountain View Stage (by the big Future World fountain).

5. Remy’s Hide and Squeak

This scavenger hunt activity is a reappearance from previous Food and Wine Festivals, but always worth doing again (especially since the locations are different). Remy is hidden around the various festival kiosks, gathering ingredients for his famous ratatouille. Using a map available for purchase at the Festival Center and various shops, you can keep track of his hiding places and receive a reward upon completion. (Hint: The prize is different than last year too!) Maps cost $6.99, and the activity is well worth the price.

With the addition of so many experiences, Food and Wine Festival just got way better for kids! Oh, and did we mention….food? Kids enjoy snacking throughout the festival just as much as adults, and this year the Passport includes a little icon that indicates which dishes kids are most likely to appreciate. From smoothies and gourmet milkshakes to sliders and dumplings, there’s something for everyone. We recommend the Quesito, a puff pastry with sweet cream cheese and guava sauce from Islands of the Caribbean. Tell us how you like to enjoy Food and Wine Festival with your kids!
