While officially considered a Moderate Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs is the very first of its kind to offer up onsite Club Level services once exclusive to Disney’s Deluxe Resorts alone. While all available suite accommodations come with Club Level access included, it’s been noted that any standard room accommodation can also be booked with added Club Level service access. This means getting all-day exclusive access into the Chronos Club Lounge, which serves three meals along with complimentary snacks and refreshments around the clock. And while it currently ranks as one of the largest Club Level Lounges in size and space at Walt Disney World Resort, it is also the cheapest Club Level option you can book.

Dining

Amidst a number of Resort-wide renovations, Disney’s Coronado Springs has welcomed in a total of four new eating establishments on its grounds. Three of those four are housed in the new Gran Destino Tower, and they are the Barcelona Lounge, Dahlia Lounge, and Toldeo—Tapas, Steak, & Seafood. As previously referenced, you’ll find the Barcelona Lounge adjoining the main lobby’s lower level.

Operating as a Catalonian style café by day you can find all your caffeinated cravings, espresso expressions, and other coffee shop works to set the mood and tradition of a sophisticated little Spanish café setting. But when the evening sets in so do the cocktails and other libations, as the scene transforms into an ample gin tonic bar. Sit out on the connecting patio bar to enjoy stellar lake views of Lago Dorado, and enjoy scrumptious sweet treats, pastries, and other light eats to pair perfectly with whatever beverage you are indulging in at the moment.

While Barcelona Lounge can be found on lobby grounding, you’ll have to head to the very top to enjoy the food and drink pairings featured at Dahlia Lounge. With a décor theme celebrating Spanish surrealism in art and architecture, the equally cool and refreshing cocktails and other specialty crafts and concoctions compliment the surroundings perfectly. From expert mixologists to impressive selections amongst myriad libations, this rooftop bar truly does deliver in all that it boasts and infinitely more.  And don’t forget about the light plate pairings to go with your drink of choice, whether it’s wine or Spanish cava, or something else entirely. Enjoy tapas, mussels, churros, and so many other options. And for those looking for less spirited options, Dahlia Lounge also serves espressos, coffee, lemonade, and other virgin whistle wetters as well. Stop in by evening and take in views of the fireworks from nearby Hollywood Studios and Epcot from the Lounge’s private patio as an added bonus.

Sharing rooftop status with Dahlia Lounge is its elite next-door neighbor Toledo—Tapas, Steak & Seafood. Dine in splendor with a blended motif in décor and theme that combines both Spanish surrealism and elements of the classy 1930s avant-garde style. Surrounding olive trees and fanciful illuminated vaulted ceilings add their own enchanting touches to the overall appeal of the dinner scene, as does the on-stage tapas kitchen, serving up the finest inspirations in elegant Spanish steak, seafood, and other cuisine choices. Both Spanish and California wine selections create an expansive list of options, along with handcrafted brews, cocktails, and other drinks, in addition to small plate pairings. And as always, there is a vast selection of scrumptious Spanish desserts to indulge in at the end of your meal, but perhaps the sweeping scenic views surrounding you from all around is the true icing on the cake.

Other towering highlights

All in all, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort has plenty of exacting features that have been further elevated by the new high-end standards the Gran Destino Tower addition has brought into the mix. We mentioned all the added rooms, restaurants, and other designations, but did you know that the Tower even has its own onsite fitness center? This fully furnished state-of-the-art workout room marks the second on Coronado property, the first being La Vida Health Club Fitness Center. And speaking of more rooms and spacing, another innovative feature we touched on briefly is the additional meeting space and conference room availability in general. While the Coronado has always been unique in that it offers a fully equipped onsite convention/business center for meetings and other events, the new Gran Destino Tower also provides additional rooms and working spaces that can be utilized for various business engagements and social events as well.

They also provide quiet and relaxation for reading when not being used for scheduled events. Do note that there are interactive real-time maps around to tell you when rooms are being used for conferences or other forms of business. And getting back to those innovative high-tech enhancements, another fun feature worth mentioning includes all the touchscreens, light-up walls, and flooring found in the new elevators. Rather than following suit with the conventional routine of pressing buttons up and down, these elevators present specialized stepping features in which you tap the floor and are then directed to your available elevator.
