Magic Kingdom After Dark - 10 Things You Shouldn't Miss

Happily Ever After

3. Once Upon a Time

Magic Kingdom’s castle projection show, “Once Upon a Time”, is a lovely performance filled with awesome animation, cool effects, and of course, a touching message. You can catch this one nightly, and it definitely deserves a spot on your itinerary.

2. Happily Ever After

A Disney trip must-see, “Happily Ever After” is the nightly fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. It is uplifting and inspiring, and the perfect way to finish a day full of magic. This one is best viewed from the front of the castle, but parts of it can be seen from almost anywhere in the park.

1. Kiss Goodnight

At the very end of every Magic Kingdom day, Mickey Mouse comes on the speakers to wish his guests goodnight. Go ahead and stick around while everyone else is headed for the exit so you can hear this “kiss goodnight” and savor those last few magical moments. Remember that the shops on Main Street, U.S.A. remain open for a bit after losing time, meaning you can meander to the exit as you prepare to leave.

These are our favorite nighttime activities at Magic Kingdom. Each one adds a bit more pixie dust to any Disney trip, making it an extra special vacation to remember.
