A Beginners Guide For Pin Trading At Disney World

Mickey and Minnie Pin Trading _ disney fanatic

3. What To Trade

You can trade any Disney pin for a pin on a cast member’s lanyard. You can tell whether a pin is real or fake by if it has the Disney Pin Trading logo on the back, it has a stick pin closure, two prongs on either side of the closure, and the coloring appears to be right. Pins should also be in good condition.  As long as a pin meets those requirements it may be traded.

4. What To Collect

The great thing about collecting pins is that there's thousands of different pins to choose from. If you're a big Mickey fan you can aim for all the different Mickey styles or you can aim to complete the different collections of pins such as the Princess Shoes (my personal favorite), Duffy bears, or the Epcot cast member costumes. The options are endless and each trip you can add more to your collection.
