How To Do Walt Disney World In 5 Days

Animal Kingdom

Day 3.

Virtually every person in the world has some affection for some kind of animal, so be prepared to spend most of your day at the Animal Kingdom today. This park has everything from the Festival of the Lion King to DeVine–not to mention a completely gorgeous environment, and, of course, animals–making it a park that requires just a little extra planning for the day. Rides like DINOSAUR, Kali River Rapids, and Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain are all crowd-pleasers, and be sure to set aside extra time for the animals. You can’t forget at least one of the Kilimanjaro safaris (do this first thing in the morning, as the crowds are smaller and the animals are more alert than in the early afternoon)! Grab some FastPasses for those first three in-demand rides, pick a scheduled showing for Festival of the Lion King and Flights of Wonder, then spend all the time in between snacking on turkey legs and strolling through the Maharajah Jungle Trek and the Oasis. Head to Downtown Disney or the BoardWalk tonight for food, shopping, and the unique combination of Disney magic with traditional nightlife!
