4. Attend a Party!

Granted, while these parties aren’t birthday parties, you can still attend a Disney soiree on your special day. During the Halloween and Christmas season, you can purchase tickets for Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and enjoy special entertainment, character appearances, and goodies. And throughout the entire year, you can attend one of the many dessert and firework viewing parties that happen in the various parks! The most popular ones to date are the Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party in the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT’s IllunmiNation’s Dessert Party in the World Showcase. Not only will you indulge in endless decadent sweets and beverages, but you will also have access to a private viewing area for that park’s nighttime spectacular. The spectacular view is worth the price of admission alone. Don’t take our word for it though. See for yourself!

5. Be on the Lookout…

While wearing a birthday button or casually mentioning your birthday to cast members doesn’t guarantee royal treatment, cast members (in general) arelooking for ways to add pixie dust to your day! By making your birthday known, you just never know when a cast member may bring you to the front of a line, treat you to ice cream, or create another “magical moment”. Just keep your eyes peeled and have a smile on your face if the occasion arises. While all of these things probably won’t happen, I’d be surprised if at least one dash of birthday magic wasn’t thrown your way.
