8. Magic Kingdom flag retreat

This is such an amazing and patriotic event to take in. Every day at 5 pm at Town Square on Main Street USA the American flag is retired for the night. The National Anthem is played by Magic Kingdom philharmonic and the Dapper Dans lead the guests in a chorus of “God Bless America” while the color guard lowers and folds the flag. It is then handed to a guest veteran selected each day. This can be an emotional experience and can results in a few tears being shed. I highly recommend watching this inspiring and uplifting event.
