9. “Playful Pluto” Week (First Week of March)
While room rates tick upwards a bit in the first week of March, you will still generally find lower crowd sizes throughout the resort. But be mindful that the busy Spring Break period kicks off the very next week and features some of the largest crowds of the year, as well as higher room rates. You’d be better off kicking off your trip in the last days of February than spilling over into the busy spring break time at Disney World toward the end of your week. In honor of the Mickey short “Playful Pluto” which was released on March 3, 1934, enjoy a meet and greet with Pluto in Town Square, or at a number of other locations across the Disney Resort.
