Top Planning Tips for Your Disney World Trip in the Fall

Disney Has Turned Halloween Into a Cash Cow
Fall means sweaters, crisp days, hayrides, flannel shirts, bonfires, football games, and pumpkin spice everything! While Orlando may not have the same weather and traditions as your hometown does during the fall season, Walt Disney World can be a special place for your family to enjoy. Here are a few things to consider when planning your upcoming fall Walt Disney World vacation! A Disney World Trip in the Fall might be perfect!

1. Prepare for Cooler Weather

The weather in Orlando does stay pretty consistent throughout the year – humid, rainy, and hot. However, if you’re visiting Walt Disney World during the fall, especially late October, November and early December, it may be cooler than you may have anticipated. Pack a sweatshirt, jacket, long-sleeved tops, and long pants just in case. While there will still be days for shorts and sandals, you’ll want to pack some extra outfits that could work on a chilly day or most fall nights. Always check the weather forecast before you travel so you can pack your bags accordingly.

2. Take in the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

If you’ll be visiting Disney in late August through mid-November, be sure to check out the International Food & Wine Festival at Epcot’s World Showcase! Sample delicious foods and amazing wines from around the world, learn more about wine tasting, enjoy culinary demonstrations, and take home some special souvenirs! This can be especially fun for couples on their honeymoon, a group of adults, or anyone who loves sampling unique food and beverages!
