Walt Disney World Deluxe Resorts:  7 Reasons Why You Must Stay at One

1. Proximity to Parks

All of the resorts on Walt Disney World property provide guests with complimentary transportation to the parks.  Although nothing on-property is too far from anything else, it could still take 30-45 minutes (or more!) on a bus to get from one point to another, especially when stops at multiple resorts are taken into account.  When you stay at a Deluxe resort, you are generally located extremely close to one of the parks, and your transportation stops at fewer places.  Animal Kingdom Lodge is located close to-you guessed it- Animal Kingdom.  The Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary/Bay Lake Tower, and Wilderness Lodge are all a stone's throw from the Magic Kingdom.  In Epcot's back yard are The Yacht Club, Beach Club, and Boardwalk Inn.  By extension, because Hollywood Studios is very close to Epcot, it is nearby these resorts as well.
