5. Extra Magic Hours

You still get to enjoy the same great benefits of Extra Magic Hours when you book a stay at any Disney-operated or affiliated resort. On specially selected days a particular Disney World Park will open one hour early or remain in operation three hours past closing time exclusively for Disney resort guests. During these times you will need to scan your resort ID card or MagicBand (a more popular choice) before participating in any of that park’s attractions. Keep in mind that the aforementioned reliable transportation remains in faithful operation in conjunction to a park’s Extra Magic Hours, starting the run 30 minutes prior to the extra morning hour and staying in operation past the park closing for the evening.
