What To Do At Disney World On Really Crowded Days

AMC Theater

Walt Disney World in Florida is one of the most visited vacation destinations in the world with an annual attendance of more than 52 million.  With that many visitors there are bound to be days when the crowds are heavier, and the ride and attraction lines longer.  Don't despair.  There are plenty of ways to enjoy Disney World even on those busy days.  There are four theme parks, two water parks, four world-class golf courses, two miniature golf courses, and Disney Springs, an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment complex, which includes AMC Disney Springs 24 Dine-In Theaters.  If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, there will be even more ways to avoid those peak-crowd days.  Here are some suggestions:

1.  AMC-24-Dine-In Theater

Enjoy a current movie at this beautifully designed theater complex, with super comfortable reclining seats, state-of-the-art THX Surround Sound, Sony Dynamic Digital Sound, and auditoriums which feature an Enhanced Theater Experience with huge floor to ceiling screens.  As an added bonus, you can enjoy the movie and a delicious meal which will be delivered to your seat.  Just choose your movie, reserve your seats, and show up for a cool way to take a break from the crowds.

2.  Disney Resort Hotel

One of the great advantages of staying on Disney property is the convenience of complimentary transportation back to your Resort where you can enjoy the fantastic amenities, have a meal, take a dip in the pool, or take a quick nap.  When you're refreshed, you'll be ready to resume your magical adventure at your favorite Disney theme park, with renewed "vim and vigor", crowd or no crowd!

3.  Disney Springs

Shopping, Dining, Entertainment--Disney Springs is just a boat, bus, or short drive away from Walt Disney World, with over 100 shopping venues, 61 dining options (snacks, casual or fine dining), Marketplace Train Express and Marketplace Carousel for the younger guests, the "Void", a virtual reality experience, a hot air balloon ride, Amphicar and water taxi tours, and so much more to see and do.
