What To Do Before Your 1st Full Day At Disney World

Pack Your Park Bag

When your dinner and pool fun have ended, but before you head off to bed, be sure to pack up your park bag for the next day. You’ll want to include a portable phone charger, snacks, water, sunscreen, and anything else you might need to get through the day comfortably.   We recommend bringing a backpack to put it all in, to make toting your things around an easier experience.

Charge Your Phone

You’ll definitely want your phone with you while touring the parks. It’ll be useful for taking photos with characters, contacting family and friends should you become separated, checking wait times, and checking your plans.  Because your phone is so crucial during a park day, you will want to make sure it’s fully charged before you head out. Plugging the device in the night before is the best way to make absolutely sure it has a full charge and is ready to take on the next day.

Rest Well

Finally, you will need to get some good rest. Disney World is a magical place, but it’s also enormous, overwhelming, and exhausting.  Ensuring you get plenty of rest the night before it all begins will help get you through your days of playing in the theme parks, even when you find yourself getting up early to catch the slow morning hours and staying out late to see the fireworks.  Doing everything you can to relax your body and going to bed extra early are both very good ideas.
