Heading to one of Disney’s water parks during your next vacation? Awesome! You’re going to have an absolute blast. Both of Disney World’s water parks are amazing and feature super fun attractions for everyone in your group.

That said, there are some ways you can help ensure your day is just as good as you’ve always hoped. One of the things you can do is arrive with a well-packed bag.

Wondering what you might need to include in your water park bag? Well, for starters, we recommend using a beach bag or a bag made with some sort of water-resistant material. Fill it with the ten items below and you’ll be good to go!

1. Sunscreen

Sunscreen is essential for protecting yourself from the hot Florida sun. Even if you plan to visit in the middle of winter, you can expect some pretty serious sunshine, and even the most overcast days can leave you with a sunburn. Therefore, this is one item you absolutely will not want to forget.

2. Sunglasses

Another sun protection essential is a pair of sunglasses. We all know that too much sunlight can damage your eyes. Besides, who wants to be squinting into the sun all day?

We recommend picking up some cheap sunglasses at the dollar store before your trip in order to avoid losing your high-quality ones. In fact, grab some for everyone in your party while you’re at it.

3. Towels

Obviously, you’re going to need some way to dry off. Sure, you can rent towels at both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. However, there’s no real reason not to save a few bucks and bring your own.

Another great benefit of bringing your own towels is the fact that you can use them on the bus on the way back to your resort, something you’re sure to appreciate.
