Disney is one of the most magical places on earth for a little girl. I walk through the front gates at Magic Kingdom get my first glance at Cinderella’s Castle and find myself turning to look at my daughter to see the look of wonder and joy on her little face! Disney is never more fun than when you’re seeing it through the eyes of a child and that experience can be made all the more magical by making a few plans ahead of time to squeeze every last drop of magic out of your visit for your lovely little lady. We’ve pulled together a list of attractions that are sure to wow your little princess:

#10. Fantasyland – Magic Kingdom

When it comes to rides at Walt Disney World Resort, if you’re a little lady, Magic Kingdom has the best selection for your pint-sized thrill-seekers. A few of our favorites: Mad Tea Party, Prince Charming Regal Carousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid, and It’s a Small World. Each of these are relatively close together and lines move quickly. Make a point to FastPass your favorites to shorten wait times.

# 9. Character Dining – Disney World Resort

From 1900 Park Fare at The Grand Floridian Resort, Garden Grill in Epcot, The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom – there are so many delicious restaurants where you can share a meal with your loved ones while your favorite Disney Characters drop by your table for a visit. #8. Visit Belle and Aurora – France in World Showcase, Epcot

Enjoy a hug and some chit-chat with these lovely ladies in an outdoor venue. No appointment necessary here and lines are not usually long. Consult the character appearance schedule at the entrance to Epcot for available times.

#7. Ariel’s Grotto – Fantasy Land in Magic Kingdom

A new addition in “Fantasyland” the lovely Mermaid Princess Ariel receives visitors in her mystical, underwater grotto. The princess lover’s in your party can pose for photos, enjoy a little chat, even get an autograph from the lovely mer-princess. FastPass is recommended for this feature to avoid lines.

#6. Dream Along With Mickey – Magic Kingdom

A perfect introduction to some of your favorite princesses and their princes is at Magic Kingdom at the base of Cinderella’s castle. In “Dream Along with Mickey” Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck prepare for a big party where dreams come true! Twirling dancers are joined by Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and other beloved disney characters singing classic Disney songs, such as “Some Day My Prince Will Come,” “Once Upon a Dream” and “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.” Shows happen multiple times a day. Consult pamphlets at the front gates of Magic Kingdom for a complete schedule of show times.

#5. Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade – Magic Kingdom

This Disney-Star-studded parade begins in Adventure Land, continues in front of the Princess Castle then concludes with a processional down main street. Find a great place along the parade route and you’ll be treated to music, dancing and waves from your favorite Disney Princesses and other Disney characters.

#4. Princess Fairytale Hall – Magic Kingdom

Visit Anna, Elsa and other Princesses one-on-one. FastPass appointment is a must for this attraction especially for visits with the Frozen sisters who command wait times of 3+ hours.

#3. Dine with a Princess at Askerhaus in Norway

If you have a little princess in your family, don’t pass up an opportunity to dine with Disney leading-ladies including Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, Princess Aurora, Ariel and Mary Poppins. The Askerhaus Princesss breakfast is a good backup in case you are not able to reserve a Princess character breakfast in Magic Kingdom.

#2. Cinderella’s Royal Table – Cinderella’s Castle Magic Kingdom

Dine in a storybook setting overlooking Fantasyland while classic Disney Princesses visit your table and pose for photographs, autographs and hugs. Upon arriving for your reservation, you’ll be received by Cinderella herself and pose for a professional photo which will be delivered to your table during your meal. This is an unforgettable experience and guests are encouraged to dress up for the occasion. The Royal Table is set for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations are a must.

#1. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique – Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney

Now it’s your turn to be a princess! Get ready for one of the most magical moments at Disney for your little princess! The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique lets your little girl live her own fairytale by having a complete princess makeover. Guests must be between 3 and 12 years of age and be accompanied by an adult (18 years of age or older). Your princess transformation will take 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the package selected. Your little lady can choose to be styled like Ariel, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Tinker Bell, Tiana, Rapunzel, or Merida. My daughter had an Ariel makeover and had an absolute blast! During her makeover she said “mommy, this is the best thing that’s ever happened to me!” The boutique gets booked up quickly so reserve your little princesses’ spot in advance. Trust me, it’ll be worth every penny!
