10 Best Disney World Freebies

Castle Confectionary

“Walt Disney World” and “Free” probably don’t sound like they go together. It’s true that Disney World has a reputation for being expensive, and between park tickets, hotel, and food, you’re spending a pretty penny. But there are some great additions to your Disney vacation that won’t cost you anything extra!

1. Transportation

There are a lot of fun ways to get around Walt Disney World, and they’re free! Riding around on the various modes of transportation can be a fun “down day” activity. The monorail is the most iconic. The main monorail line loops around Bay Lake with stops at the Contemporary Resort, Magic Kingdom, Grand Floridian Resort, Polynesian Resort, and the Transportation and Ticketing Center. The Epcot branch takes you from the TTC on a loop around the entire Epcot property before stopping at the station.

There are also several boats that you can take from place to place or just on a loop as a mini-cruise. Routes include the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Magic Kingdom; the Contemporary, Fort Wilderness Lodge, and Magic Kingdom; Port Orleans and Disney Springs; and Epcot, the Boardwalk Resort, Yacht and Beach Club Resort, Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Hollywood Studios. All of these rides are completely free and a fun way to see different parts of Walt Disney World.
